ASIP Gold-Headed Cane Award

 

First awarded in 1919, the Gold-Headed Cane Award is given in recognition of long-term contributions to pathology, including meritorious research, outstanding teaching, general excellence in the field, and leadership in pathology. Nominations for the award require:

1) three letters of recommendation, including at least two from ASIP members;

2) the candidate's curriculum vitae including bibliography; and
3) ASIP membership and sustained and significant contributions to the Society.

Awardees will receive a mahogany cane topped with a 14 karat gold head and engraved band at the PISA 2018 Conference (October 20-22, 2018 in Ann Arbor, MI).
